Eeterij Suster Anna
Eeterij Suster Anna has been located at Markt 8 in Veere since 1999. It is located diagonally opposite the beautiful town hall, whose construction started in 1474 under the leadership of the Fleming Evert Spoorwater.
Above the entrance on the facade of “Suster Anna” is a beautiful decoration of three ships. Upon entering, the height of the front room is immediately noticeable. A high ceiling consisting of beautiful beams. The walls are still partly in their original state, with the wall anchors in sight.
The view of the old city garden gives the back room the atmosphere of a garden room/conservatory. The ceiling here is low in contrast to the front room, but also gives a “Veers” feeling through the large beams and the old tiles.
The old city garden is a joy to look at. The old city walls with the nice vegetation, the playful terrace and the pond with a bridge make it a beautiful whole, where everyone almost comes to a mandatory slowdown.
